CO-PRODUCER: Michael Wool
Michael Wool holds both a Medical degree as well as a Masters degree in film and television. Over the last 15 years, Wool was worked to write and produce media that is unique, innovative and enriching. Wool earned his first Telly Award for his medical documentary “Ex-Vivo Therapy in the Treatment of Cancer” which was produced by his production company, Caduceus in 1993. Wool subsequently won another Telly Award for a documentary he wrote and directed in 2000 about the impact of the HIV virus in the African American community, “The Fire This Time.” Wool brings a unique blend of both imagination and pragmatism to each project with which he is involved. Most recently in 2003, Wool created Forbidden City International and serves as the company’s President and CEO. Forbidden City is a production and distribution entity, designed for television and feature film development. Michael Wool was the Executive Producer on the award-winning “Latter Days,” a feature film for which Forbidden City International owns the international distribution rights. Wool holds two US Patents in Internet, Multimedia and Video applications.
