Joel Blasberg has been a writer/producer in Hollywood for almost thirty years, and a twenty -year member of the Writer’s Guild of America.  He has written and produced television and film for most of the major studios and television networks and has been under contract at various times to Universal Studios, Warner Brothers and Lorimar Studios.  He is currently a partner in Highway 51 Productions, a Los Angeles based television and film Production Company.  He was born in Warsaw, Poland to parents who survived the Holocaust.  He grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated with a history and political science degree from the University of Wisconsin.  Prior to coming to Hollywood he lived in Israel for six years and served in the Israeli Army.  He currently lives in Sherman Oaks, California, is married, and has three children.
